Every individual has a unique physiological makeup, and thus requires a personalized diet plan for maximum weight loss. At Plaza Aesthetics, we work with each client to create a diet plan that works for their body type and weight loss goals. Here are a few types of diet plans we offer.

Diet With Medication - Phentermine

Phentermine is a great tool to jump-start weight loss and decrease appetite. The drug is an amphetamine-like prescription medication used to suppress appetite and support weight loss by making individuals feel full longer.

Common side effects of phentermine include increased heart rate, tingling or prickling feeling in the hands or feet, dry mouth, sleeplessness, nervousness, and constipation. The drug is not recommended for patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid gland, or glaucoma.

Our phentermine program includes a 30-day prescription and two visits with our nutritionist. The drug is intended to be used as part of an overall weight loss plan by individuals who are obese and who have failed to lose enough weight with diet and exercise alone. The phentermine program is not intended for those who would like to lose a few pounds.

Each client will work with a nutritionist to develop healthy eating habits, track progress, and make adjustments as necessary.

HCG Diet

HCG stands for human chorionic gonadotropin and is a hormone that decreases appetite and increases fat metabolism. The modern HCG diet incorporates HCG injections with a strong decrease in daily caloric intake. Over the course of a few weeks, clients can expect to lose dramatic amounts of weight.

The HCG program includes 40 days of injections and two visits with our nutritionist. During the sessions with the nutritionist, clients will learn about eating patterns and develop healthy behaviors.

Nutrition Counseling

Poor diet is one of the leading factors associated with increasing rates of obesity and chronic conditions like heart disease and cancer. Diets low in nutrition and high in fat and calories make individuals more likely to become obese and at increased risk of illness.

Nutrition counseling has emerged as a great way to educate clients about healthy eating habits and help them make positive lifestyle changes. Adjusting eating habits is a gradual process and requires the support of a trained nutritionist or counselor.

Our nutrition counseling is customized to the individuals’ needs. Our nutritionist will work with clients to develop healthy long term eating habits and physical activity behaviors.

Fat Blockers

Fat blockers are herbal supplements designed to block the body from absorbing dietary fat. The fat is naturally expelled by the body, aiding weight loss. For maximum results, clients should adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes a low-calorie diet.

A nutritionist will create a detailed plan for each client to ensure they are taking the right supplements and eating properly. The effectiveness of fat blockers is closely tied to healthy food choices and regular exercise. Each client will be paired with a nutritionist who will evaluate and monitor their progress and make adjustments as necessary.
