What to Expect During The Procedure

Restylane Kysse injections are minimally invasive (meaning they don’t require incisions) and are done on an outpatient basis. At the beginning of the procedure, the doctor may apply numbing cream or ointment to numb the treatment area and minimize discomfort.

Depending on the number of injections being done and the size of the treatment area, the entire procedure may only take a few minutes to half an hour.

During the procedure, the doctor will:

  1. Identify the injection sites in the treatment area(s).
  2. Cleanse the skin with an antiseptic.
  3. Determine how much Restylane is necessary to achieve the desired results.
  4. Use an ultrafine needle or cannula to inject the filler.

After the injections are complete, the doctor may gently massage the treatment area to ensure the filler is evenly distributed under the skin and appears natural.

Treatment results may last up to 12 months.
