Dr. Balat began practicing medicine in 1976, and has provided exceptional care to his patients and their loved ones ever since. He is a highly recognized physician in the greater Houston area, particularly as an OB/GYN specialist. Recently, Dr. Balat also opened the Binz Surgery Center in order to provide minimally invasive procedures for patients.
Dr. Balat graduated from UTMB Medical School in Galveston and went on to complete his post-graduate training at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.
His accreditation and memberships include organizations such as the American Medical Association, International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine, Texas Medical Association, and American Society for Reproductive Medicine, among others.
